Shibuya Web3 University - Season 2 - 6th In-Person Event (37th Overall)

This is an in-person event only (no online streaming available)

Three years. 37 events. Over 3,000 participants.

Since the day we raised the flag declaring "Let's change the world with Web3," we haven't stopped moving forward for a single moment.

And now, a world-first demonstration project is underway in Iizuka City.

We don't wait for the future—we create it.

Join us at the forefront.

■ About Our 3rd Anniversary Event

It took 30 years for the internet to become essential social infrastructure. There was a time when people said "Email is rude" and "Shopping online is unthinkable"—yet today, everyone uses these technologies without a second thought.

Blockchain is the next evolution of the internet. "Own your own data"—it sounds obvious when you say it. But in the internet era, this has never truly been realized.

Three years since launching in March 2023, Shibuya Web3 University has continued to pursue real-world implementation of this technology.

For our 37th event, we bring together the Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Digital Affairs, local government officials, disaster prevention experts, and companies providing the technological foundation—all centered around an interim report on the world's first DID/VC disaster prevention demonstration project currently underway in Iizuka City, Japan's first city to officially declare its commitment to blockchain promotion.

The challenges emerging here are not unique to Iizuka City. They anticipate the questions that Japan—and the world—will inevitably face.

We don't wait for the future—we create it. Let's start the "new normal" of five years from now, right here in Iizuka City. Join us to witness the forefront of this challenge.
