Nearly three years have passed since Shibuya Web3 University opened. Web3, built on blockchain technology, has evolved from a stage of discussing ideals to one of implementation and creating value in society.
Meanwhile, generative AI has rapidly permeated society since the emergence of ChatGPT. While many companies are adopting it, Web3 still faces cautious perspectives. However, we are convinced that these two technologies complement each other and will generate new value. AI advances the times; Web3 transforms them. This fusion is the key to opening the next era.

From learning to implementation, and on to leader development.

Over these three years, our challenge has deepened significantly.
Through training, we provide systematic knowledge and ways of thinking. Through the Create Course, we create opportunities for practice. What became clear through this cycle is how vital the presence of "leaders who can change reality" truly is.
No matter how excellent the technology you learn, no matter how innovative the project you envision, society will not change unless there are people who can make decisions of their own will and take action.
From this conviction, the SGX Professional Program will launch in February 2026. Through our partnership with UITM in Poland, we offer MBA/DBA-equivalent programs taught in Japanese. We cultivate not knowledge, but the "vessel of consciousness," developing leaders who can move reality. The learning and practice at Shibuya Web3 University naturally leads to this leader development.

Iizuka City, Fukuoka Prefecture—and the next demonstration projects.

The demonstration project in Iizuka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, was adopted in September 2025. We are leading a three-company consortium in Japan's first initiative to fuse blockchain technology with analog disaster prevention activities. Create Course members are participating under their own company names, applying knowledge gained from training to solve real-world challenges.
This is only the beginning. Going forward, we will expand these demonstration projects horizontally, growing opportunities for "living learning" that cannot be experienced elsewhere. Learning becomes practice, and practice becomes social implementation. This cycle is the true value of Shibuya Web3 University.
