Study Session Event Tickets Now on Blockchain — "Shibuya Web3 Innovator Pass" Launches

Shibuya Web3 University is launching a new initiative to record proof of participation in real study sessions on the blockchain using the blockchain electronic certificate "Turing Certs." This attempt is a first step in exploring the practicality of blockchain electronic certificates together with participants.

Starting from the 28th real study session, we will begin test issuance of the "Shibuya Web3 Innovator Pass" for current Create Course members. This pass includes a QR code and unique ID for verifying participation history, aiming to visualize learning activities and connections within the community.

Certificates leveraging blockchain technology are difficult to tamper with and remain permanently recorded. These characteristics allow daily learning to accumulate as a life log, potentially serving as proof for future career development.

Furthermore, we will explore how this technology might solve various event management challenges, such as ticket resale issues and the complexity of identity verification.

As a community that "learns technological possibilities through practice," we are challenging ourselves to create new value beyond simply proving event participation.
